SELAH (SAY-LAH)
TO TAKE A MOMENT
OF PAUSE
Selah (SAY-lah) is a word in the Bible at the end of verses in Psalms. It means to take a moment of pause, reflect, and really listen to the Lord’s Word and letting it forever change you.
“I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John, 8:12)
Guided by a divine calling, Selah Mountain Ministries directs God’s love to touch the hearts of the vulnerable. Embracing the biblical teaching that “To whom much is given, much will be required,” (Luke 12:48), we’ve taken on the mission to take the light of God to countless children, families, and individuals worldwide. From those scarred by the agonies of life to the orphaned and abandoned, our journey began with a single, resounding call: to be God’s hands, reaching out to heal and hold.
Passion, Purpose, and Parenthood
The Heartbeat of Selah Mountain Ministries
Dale and Kimberly Nuss are the driving force behind Selah Mountain Ministries, having had over 30 foster children and 11 adopted children who have moved past their traumas in their care and through God’s love. Their children are excelling at academics and sports and growing to live full lives. With a calling to expand their ministries, they have partnered with other faithful Christians called to do God’s work, ministering to people in their time of need, including the Selah Mountain Hope Center, PUSHstart Ministries, Creston’s Home, and the new Selah Mountain Ranch to provide equine-assisted services to children who have PTSD.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews, 11:1)
